Lions Club responds to COVID-19 pandemic raising awareness and donations to help needy families and children.
JOIN THE RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS ARMY AND FEED HUNGRY CHILDREN
The Philippines consists of thousands of tropical and mountainous islands, with gorgeous beaches and breathtaking views. The economy of the Philippines is stable, but poverty still persists in many areas of the cities and in remote islands. The beautiful landscape is also vulnerable to natural disasters, from typhoons and landslides to earthquakes and tsunamis.
We’d like to raise as much of our goal as we can to fulfill the few items on each child’s wishlist and also to buy them enough food and groceries for each family for the week.
HELP OTHERS BY GIVING
Subic Bay Centennial Lions Club has set an annual fundraising goal of $100,000 to support local community organizations and club functions, such as feeding and hunger, vision screening for children and elderly, diabetes testing, environment projects such as tree planting, childhood cancer, humanitarian relief and opportunities for youth including school supplies, food baskets to families, raising awareness of diabetes, and much more.
“We consider ourselves blessed to have received the assistance of www.RAOKarmy.com which enabled our members to provide emergency food relief during the COVID-19 pandemic,” past president Tess Pronto said.
